Review: My garage door broke, and Select Garage Doors charged me $500 just to close the door. I then chose and was quoted a price for a new door. I put my deposit down and waited to be contacted about installation, but never was. I called the company who said I would be getting an email or text shortly about installation….nothing. I decide to wait a few days, maybe they are really booked? Nope. I call back, and they tell me the price I was quoted is incorrect, and the door I have chosen is twice the price of the original quote. They said they called to let me know – I have no VM whatsoever. I requested a refund immediately and went with another company.This whole process wasted a month of my life while I had to park outside in the snow and ice. I really wish this would have been handled in a more prompt and professional manner. I get mistakes happen, but please deal with it instead of leaving the customer to wait and wonder. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
